LUNCH (Located Under NADA’s Central Headqaurters)
311 East Broadway, 2nd Floor
Join us on Thursday, July 31st for NADA TALKS, a new series organized with Andrew Woolbright, Editor-at-Large for The Brooklyn Rail, Director of Below Grand, and Professor at Pratt, as part of an oral history project co-curated with Brooke Nicholas (Blade Study), hosted at NADA’s exhibition space LUNCH (Located Under NADA’s Central Headquarters).

The third conversation features artist Andrea McGinty, whose exhibition A VILLAGE, presented by Chozick Family Art Gallery, is currently on view. McGinty’s new body of work navigates the terrain of domestic life, survival and humor through intricate collage, sculptural, and photographic assemblage.

NADA TALKS hosts in-person interviews with artists, art dealers, and gallerists who have contributed to the culture of contemporary art in New York, focusing on the last 20 years. These conversations seeks to acknowledge the role of galleries in the large art ecosystem, expand cultural memory, and engage in deeper living history of the Lower East Side and Manhattan.
