Zalucky Contemporary

Zalucky Contemporary is pleased to present a solo project booth with Canadian artist Laura Hudspith, whose debut in New York coincides with her graduation from the MFA Program at Carnegie Mellon University. Titled “emanations”, this new series involves six stained-glass oculi mounted to the walls. The glasswork either looks inwards towards the erotic knowledge-powers of the molecular body: breast, ovarian, and lymph tissue histologies or outwards towards the mineral bodies of the macro terrain such as sedimentary rock formations.
